Elderberry black flowers

In folk medicine, elderberry herbal preparations are used as a diuretic, antiseptic, expectorant and diaphoretic, for catarrh of the upper respiratory tract, neuralgia, urticaria, rheumatism, gout, as a laxative. For tuberculosis and hemorrhoids, jam made from elderberries is used. The dense extract of the fruit improves appetite, stimulates the formation of red blood cells. The decoction of the roots has worked well for kidney diseases, the decoction for the leaves - for intestinal colic and spastic colitis.

To prepare the broth, 6-8 dry elderberry leaves are crushed, poured with 1/2 cups of water, boiled for 10 minutes, filtered, squeezed and brought to the original volume. Take 1/2 cup 3 times a day with meals. The broth can be applied topically by rubbing it into the insect bite.

The diaphoretic effect of elderberry is well manifested when using the infusion of dried flowers. For its preparation, 1-2 teaspoons of raw materials are poured with 2 cups of boiling water and insisted in a sealed container for 1 tsp.

Drink in small portions warm throughout the day. A good diaphoretic, diuretic and antiseptic effect is obtained by using a collection consisting of elderberry and linden flowers mixed with peppermint leaves in a 1: 1 ratio. To prepare the infusion, 1 tablespoon of the collection is poured with 2 glasses of water, boiled for 10 minutes, filtered and sugar or honey is added to taste. Drink warm throughout the day. Treatment with elderberry preparations is recommended to be carried out under control.
