An aqueous infusion and tincture of St. John's wort herb is used for rinsing and lubricating the gums for periodontal disease, stomatitis, gingivitis, halitosis (2-3 tablespoons for 2 cups of boiling water, leave for 4-5 hours). St. John's wort is an ancient medicine, known in ancient Greece.

In Russia, it was considered a herb for most diseases. Kazakhs call him "jarambay" - a healer of wounds. Water infusion and decoction of the herb have long been used to treat heart disease, rheumatism, colds, flu, headaches, diseases of the liver, stomach, bladder, bedwetting, hemorrhoids, inflammation of the female genital organs. To prepare the infusion, a tablespoon of herbs is poured with 1 cup of boiling water, 1/3 cup is drunk 3 times a day 30 minutes before meals.

With hypertension, extracts of St. John's wort are contraindicated.

Lotions from vodka tincture were used for tumors and hardening of the mammary glands. Rinse the mouth with a diluted tincture in case of inflammatory processes. Infusion of flowers in vegetable oil lubricated wounds, burns, abscesses; various skin lesions. The freshly grated plant was applied to wounds, bruises, and inflamed parts of the body.
